Course Description
The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is a three-year undergraduate degree program designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in laboratory diagnostics and medical testing. The course equips students to work efficiently in healthcare laboratories and diagnostic centers, assisting doctors in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. It covers the study of clinical biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, hematology, immunology, histopathology, and various modern diagnostic technologies used in medical testing.
Students are trained in handling advanced laboratory equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, interpreting test results, maintaining quality control, and following ethical laboratory practices.
