Course Description
The Diploma in Ayurvedic Compounder (DAC) is a specialized program designed to train students in the preparation, dispensing, and handling of Ayurvedic medicines. This course provides hands-on knowledge of classical formulations, herbal extracts, oils, powders, and decoctions, blending ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern pharmaceutical practices.
The program equips students to work as qualified Ayurvedic compounders in hospitals, clinics, manufacturing units, and wellness centers, ensuring quality, safety, and therapeutic efficacy in Ayurveda medicine preparation.

Medicine Preparation
Learn to prepare classical formulations such as powders (Churna), decoctions (Kwath), medicated oils (Taila), ghee (Ghrita), and herbal pastes
Medicinal Plants knowledge
IIdentify and understand herbal, mineral, and metallic drugs used in Ayurveda, Learn collection, preservation, and processing of medicinal plants
Quality Control

- From Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Minimum aggregate score: 45–50% (varies by institution).
